Crude Oil

Oil prices edged higher on Tuesday as traders assessed the risk of further disruptions to Middle East crude supplies. Brent crude rose to around $107 per barrel, while WTI traded near $103 per barrel.

The gains came after attacks forced a key Saudi Arabian East-West Pipeline offline. The pipeline is an important alternative route for transporting crude without relying on the Strait of Hormuz, raising concerns over potential supply disruptions.

Wall Street

Wall Street ended lower on Monday, pressured by declines in Nvidia and other semiconductor stocks. Shares came under pressure after senior executives at US artificial intelligence companies raised safety concerns and called for a slower pace of AI development.

Asian Markets

Asian equity markets are trading higher as investors assess Middle East tensions and concerns surrounding the pace of AI development. Elevated oil prices and higher bond yields are keeping investors cautious ahead of key central bank meetings in the US and Japan.

Market Outlook

Middle East tensions, elevated crude prices and higher bond yields remain key risk factors for global markets, while Asian equities currently maintain a positive bias.
