🔶 Copper
🔹 LME Copper opened at $13,317/mt, touched a low of $13,168/mt and a high of $13,348/mt, and finally closed at $13,259/mt, down 0.68%.
🔹 Trading volume stood at 18,000 lots (down 809 lots), while open interest declined by 4,795 lots to 316,000 lots, mainly due to long liquidation.
🔹 SHFE Copper 2604 opened at 102,670 yuan/mt, fell to 101,780 yuan/mt, touched a high of 102,880 yuan/mt, and closed at 102,550 yuan/mt, down 0.15%.
🔹 Trading volume was 55,000 lots (down 51,000 lots), while open interest increased by 1,437 lots to 186,000 lots, indicating fresh short additions.
🔶 Aluminum
🔹 LME Aluminum opened at $3,167/mt, reached a high of $3,173.5/mt and a low of $3,113.5/mt, closing at $3,141.5/mt, down 1.04%.
