🔹 U.S. equity markets closed lower by 1% to 1.66%.

He stated that countries which have taken advantage of the U.S. for years may be subjected to duties tougher than those recently imposed.

🔹 Crude oil prices remained steady. West Texas Intermediate was trading around $66 per barrel.
