• Copper (Futures):

LME copper was closed overnight. The most-traded SHFE copper 2510 contract opened at 79,600 yuan/mt, touched a high of 79,810 yuan/mt, fluctuated rangebound, and closed at 79,640 yuan/mt, up 0.44%. Trading volume was 20,000 lots with open interest at 173,000 lots.

• Aluminum (Futures):

In the night session, SHFE aluminum 2510 contract opened at 20,750 yuan/mt, touched a high of 20,775 yuan/mt, a low of 20,680 yuan/mt, and closed at 20,740 yuan/mt. Trading volume stood at 3.3 lots, with open interest at 248,000 lots. LME was closed yesterday.

• Lead (Futures):

LME lead was closed overnight for the UK Summer Bank Holiday. SHFE lead 2510 contract opened at 16,865 yuan/mt, hit a high of 16,905 yuan/mt, then slipped to a low of 16,860 yuan/mt before rebounding. It closed at 16,875 yuan/mt, up 45 yuan/mt or 0.27%.

• Zinc (Futures):

LME zinc was closed overnight for the holiday. SHFE zinc opened at 22,355 yuan/mt, dropped to 22,260 yuan/mt on increased short positions, then rebounded slightly with long positions. It fluctuated around 22,300 yuan/mt and closed at 22,295 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt or 0.45%. Trading volume fell to 36,289 lots, while open interest rose by 2,542 lots to 108,000 lots.

• Tin (Futures):

SHFE tin (SN2509) opened with an upward move, then pulled back slightly, maintaining a fluctuating trend. It closed at 269,200 yuan/mt, up 0.07% from the previous day.
