• Asian equity markets are trading positively on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump refrained from imposing any trade tariffs in his inaugural speech while promising a “golden age” for America.
• Trump pledged to sign a series of executive orders, including declaring a national energy emergency and promoting domestic drilling with the slogan “drill, baby, drill.” He held off on announcing China-specific tariffs, leading to a decline in the US dollar and a rise in US stock futures.
• The Sensex and Nifty are trading higher by 90 and 50 points, respectively.
