• Asian equity markets are trading higher, taking cues from a positive Wall Street close, as investors brace for a flurry of policies expected to be announced by Donald Trump after his swearing-in as the 47th US President.

• The World Economic Forum kicks off in Davos, Switzerland, on Monday, bringing together heads of state, central bankers, and business leaders to discuss pressing global issues.

• Sensex and Nifty are up by 75 and 5 points, respectively.
